4 Star August Umrah Package 14 Nights Silver USA | From $810

Two full weeks in August, at a price built for pilgrims who’d rather spend their budget on time than on square footage. This 14-night Silver package settles you into Novotel Makkah Thakher City and Zowar International Hotel for a full week each, long enough that the Novotel shuttle becomes second nature and Madinah’s Zowar International genuinely feels like home base.

It’s an especially popular choice for extended family trips and pilgrims who want to ride out the August heat at a slower, unhurried pace. Weighing it against a shorter trip? Our Summer Umrah Package page compares all three August durations.

Novotel Makkah

Distance: Novotel Makkah Thakher City is located about 2.7 kilometers from Masjid al-Haram in the Thakher City development. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle to and from the Haram every 30 minutes, around the clock, with the ride taking roughly 10 minutes.

A full week at Novotel Makkah Thakher City, one of our value-focused Makkah Hotels, is where the shuttle-based location stops being a consideration at all after a few days, catching the 24/7 shuttle becomes as routine as walking down a hallway would be elsewhere. For families and elderly pilgrims on this extended package, the modern, spacious rooms and quieter Thakher City surroundings offer genuine rest between visits to the Haram, away from the density of the central zone. Every transfer is coordinated through our Makkah transport service.

Zowar International

Distance: Zowar International Hotel sits in Madinah’s Northern Central Area, about 170 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Guests typically reach the mosque’s Gate 330 or Gate 331 in a 2 to 4 minute walk.

A full second week at Zowar International, featured among our Madinah Hotels, gives pilgrims on this 14-night package the rare chance to treat Madinah as a genuine second home rather than a stop on the way home, sitting in the Rawdah more than once, revisiting Quba Mosque without rushing, and letting elderly relatives or children set their own pace away from the peak August sun. Transfers across the city and to Ziyarah sites are coordinated through our Madinah transport network.

Your 14 Nights 4-Star Silver August Umrah Itinerary

A 14-night package means 14 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 15 days total — 7 nights in Makkah and 7 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 14 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 15.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Novotel Makkah Thakher City. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader covers the intentions and rulings before your first shuttle ride to the Haram.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided throughout by your group leader. Shuttle transport to and from the Haram is included for the full stay.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled early to work around the peak of August heat.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah An unstructured day to worship at your own pace, rest after the first week’s travel, or take the shuttle back to the Haram whenever you feel called to.

Day 5 — Ziyarat in Makkah A second guided outing, covering Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat — sites most shorter packages don’t have time to include.

Day 6 — Free Day in Makkah More unstructured time. With a full week here, there’s no pressure to pack everything into a single visit to the Haram.

Day 7 — Free Day in Makkah Your final day in this city. Make one last visit to the Haram before checking out of Novotel Makkah.

Day 8 — Travel to Madinah Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable two-hour journey. Check in to Zowar International Hotel on arrival, a short walk from the mosque.

Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah Additional time for worship at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, made easy given how close Zowar International sits to the mosque gates.

Day 11 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain.

Day 12 — Free Day in Madinah An open day for personal worship, rest, or time with family members traveling with you.

Day 13 — Free Day in Madinah More unhurried time at the mosque — many pilgrims on this longer package use these extra days to sit in the Rawdah more than once.

Day 14 — Free Day in Madinah Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at the mosque, make any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 15 — Departure  Check out of Zowar International Hotel and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. You can also fly directly into Madinah and begin your journey there instead. Let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fourteen nights is built for pilgrims who want time over proximity — enough days to make the shuttle-based Makkah stay feel effortless, and enough flexibility to travel comfortably with elderly parents or young children through the August heat.
Yes, it’s one of the most requested durations for exactly that reason. The extended stay reduces daily transfer stress and time spent outdoors in the heat, and our on-ground team prioritizes support for families and elderly pilgrims throughout the trip.
Most pilgrims report the opposite — with a full week at the property, the 30-minute shuttle schedule becomes a predictable part of the daily rhythm rather than something to plan around each time.
The gap reflects additional hotel nights at the same two properties, not a change in hotel quality. Since Novotel Makkah and Zowar International are identical across all three durations, you’re purely paying for more time at each site.
Two in Makkah — Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, then Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat — and two in Madinah, covering the Prophet’s Mosque and Quba Mosque, followed by Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain.
It’s generally the opposite. The extended pace means fewer back-to-back activity days, more time to rest indoors between prayers during the hottest hours, and no pressure to keep up with a compressed schedule.
Yes, wheelchair assistance and extended layover support can be arranged on request, particularly useful for 14-night bookings traveling with elderly family members. Mention this when requesting your flight quote.
