Novotel Makkah

Novotel Makkah is about 2.6–2.7 km from Masjid al-Haram in a straight line, with an actual road/driving distance of roughly 6–7 km—around a 15 to 20-minute ride by car or the hotel’s own shuttle. The hotel provides a free, round-the-clock shuttle service to and from the Haram, so the extra distance doesn’t translate into inconvenience over a full 7-night stay in Makkah, just a lower nightly rate than hotels sitting directly beside the mosque. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant, a fitness center, room service, and a 24-hour front desk. Browse more hotels in Makkah to compare other options.

Zowar International

Zowar International is about 800 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, roughly a 10-minute walk—realistically walkable for most pilgrims, even over a full week in Madinah. The hotel doesn’t offer an official or free airport shuttle, but its proximity to the mosque means guests can reach all five daily prayers on foot without relying on transport. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant, room service, and 24-hour front desk. Browse more hotels in Madinah to compare other options.

Your 14-Night 4-Star October Silver Umrah Itinerary

A 14-night package means 14 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 15 days total—7 nights in Makkah and 7 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 14 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 15.

Day 1—Depart USA / Arrive Makkah
Depart from your chosen US city and land at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah. A private transfer takes you to Novotel Makkah Thakher City, about 6–7 km from the Haram by road. Check in, rest, and change into Ihram ahead of Umrah—your group leader will walk you through the intentions and rulings beforehand.

Day 2 — Umrah Rites
Perform Umrah—Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir to complete the rites—with step-by-step guidance from your group leader.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah
A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, where the first revelation is believed to have taken place.

Day 4–8 — Extended Worship in Makkah
Five open days for repeated Tawaf, voluntary prayers, and personal reflection at the Haram, with the hotel’s free 24/7 shuttle making it easy to return as often as you like.

Day 9 — Travel to Madinah
Transfer via private Umrah taxi to Madinah, roughly a two-hour journey. Check in to Zowar International, about 800 meters from the Prophet’s Mosque.

Day 10 — Ziyarat in Madinah
A guided visit to Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque—the first mosque built in Islam.

Day 11–14 — Extended Worship in Madinah
Four open days to pray at Masjid an-Nabawi at your own pace, explore the surrounding area, and make the most of the short walk from the hotel.

Day 15 — Departure
Check out of Zowar International and transfer to Madinah Airport for your return flight to the USA.
