Your 7-Night 3-Star December Umrah Itinerary

Day 1—Depart USA / Arrive Makkah

Depart from your chosen US city and land at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah. A private transfer takes you straight to Al Kiswah Hotel, approximately 0.6 to 0.9 miles from the Haram. Check in, freshen up after the journey, and change into Ihram ahead of Umrah—your group leader will walk you through the intentions and rulings before you head out.

Day 2 — Umrah Rites

Perform Umrah—Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir to complete the rites—with step-by-step guidance from your group leader throughout. Most pilgrims spend the rest of the day resting and offering voluntary prayers at the Haram.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah

A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, the mountain where the first revelation is believed to have taken place. It’s a steep, meaningful climb for those able to make it, and the group leader will share the history of the site along the way. The rest of the day is free for personal worship at the Haram.

Day 4 — Travel to Madinah

Transfer via the Haramain High-Speed Railway to Madinah—a comfortable, roughly two-hour journey across the desert. On arrival, check in to Al Mukhtara International Hotel, just 650 meters from the Masjid an-Nabawi courtyard, and settle in for the second half of your trip. Evening prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque are a highlight of this first day in Madinah.

Day 5 — Ziyarat in Madinah

A guided visit to Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque — the first mosque built in Islam, just outside the city center. Many pilgrims try to pray two rak’ahs at Quba, following the Sunnah. Additional time is available for personal worship and reflection.

Day 6 — Ziyarat in Madinah

A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the site of the Battle of Uhud; the Martyrs’ cemetery, where companions of the Prophet ï·º are buried; and Masjid al-Qiblatain, the Mosque of the Two Qiblas. The rest of the day is open for personal worship at Masjid an-Nabawi or exploring the local markets.

Day 7 — Free Day in Madinah

Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at Masjid an-Nabawi at your own pace, make any last du’as, and finish packing ahead of tomorrow’s departure. Many pilgrims use this day to visit the date orchards and pick up Ajwa dates to take home.

Day 8 — Departure

Check out of Al Mukhtara International Hotel and transfer to Madinah Airport for your return flight to the USA.
