Your 14-Night 3-Star December Umrah Itinerary

Day 1—Depart USA / Arrive Makkah

Depart from your chosen US city and land at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah, or Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED) in Madinah, depending on your flight routing. A private transfer takes you straight to Emaar Elite Hotel, approximately 1.5 km to 1.7 km from the Haram. Check in, freshen up after the journey, and change into Ihram ahead of Umrah—your group leader will walk you through the intentions and rulings before you head out.

Day 2 — Umrah Rites

Perform Umrah—Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir to complete the rites—with step-by-step guidance from your group leader throughout. Most pilgrims spend the rest of the day resting and offering voluntary prayers at the Haram.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah

A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, the mountain where the first revelation is believed to have taken place. It’s a steep, meaningful climb for those able to make it, and the group leader will share the history of the site along the way.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah

An open day to worship at your own pace — extra Tawaf, quiet time with the Qur’an, or simply resting between prayers. With shuttle services available, you can easily travel to and from the Haram for each prayer.

Day 5 — Ziyarat in Makkah

A guided visit to Jabal Thawr and other historical sites connected to the Prophet’s ï·º journey from Makkah to Madinah, including the cave where he ï·º took shelter during the migration.

Day 6 — Free Day in Makkah

Another open day for extra worship, rest, or shopping around the Haram area — a good chance to pick up gifts or prayer items before the move to Madinah.

Day 7 — Free Day in Makkah

Your final full day in the Holy City. Use the extra time for reflection and one last Tawaf before packing up and checking out of Emaar Elite Hotel ahead of tomorrow’s transfer.

Day 8 — Travel to Madinah

Transfer via the Haramain High-Speed Railway to Madinah — a comfortable, roughly two-hour journey across the desert. On arrival, check in to Hotel Medina, just 1 km from the Masjid an-Nabawi King Fahd Gate, and settle in for the second half of your trip.

Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah

A guided visit to Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque — the first mosque built in Islam, just outside the city center. Many pilgrims try to pray two rak’ahs at Quba, following the Sunnah.

Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah

Additional time for worship at Masjid an-Nabawi at your own pace. With the hotel just 1 km from the mosque, it’s easy to head over between each of the five daily prayers.

Day 11 — Ziyarat in Madinah

A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the site of the Battle of Uhud; the Martyrs’ cemetery, where companions of the Prophet ï·º are buried; and Masjid al-Qiblatain, the Mosque of the Two Qiblas.

Day 12 — Free Day in Madinah

An open day for personal worship, reflection, or optional local exploration — some pilgrims use this time to visit the local markets near the mosque or simply rest before the final stretch of the trip.

Day 13 — Ziyarat in Madinah

A guided visit to Madinah’s date orchards and any remaining historical sites for pilgrims who haven’t seen them yet, along with time to pick up Ajwa dates and other local produce to take home.

Day 14 — Free Day in Madinah

Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at Masjid an-Nabawi at your own pace, make any last du’as, and finish packing ahead of tomorrow’s departure.

Day 15 — Departure

Check out of Hotel Medina and transfer to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED) in Madinah for your return flight to the USA.
