Nada Al Diyafah
Distance: Nada Al Diyafah sits in the Ajyad al-Sud district behind the Le Meridien hotel, roughly 150 to 180 meters from Masjid al-Haram about a 5-minute walk, though the final stretch climbs a short, steep hill.
Five nights at Nada Al Diyafah, a compact, budget-focused pick among our Makkah Hotels, gets you closer to the Kaaba than many mid-range hotels twice its price. Rooms are simple — this is a hotel built around location, not amenities but for pilgrims prioritizing minimal travel time to the Haram over room size, that trade is exactly the point. The short uphill approach is manageable for most guests; if you’re traveling with someone who has mobility concerns, let our team know and we can flag it ahead of arrival. Transfers from the airport and for Ziyarah days run through our Makkah transport service.

Diyafat Al Mukhtara
Distance: Diyafat Al Mukhtara is located in central Madinah, approximately 1.1 to 1.2 kilometers from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi roughly a 12 to 15 minute walk, with women’s access available via Gate 25.
Five nights at Diyafat Al Mukhtara, featured among our Madinah Hotels, is a straightforward, budget-conscious base surrounded by local restaurants and markets. The walk to the mosque is longer than our higher-tier options, so we recommend pairing it with our included transport for the hotter parts of the day and saving the walk itself for cooler morning and evening prayers. All local transport is arranged through our Madinah transport network.

Your 10 Nights 3-Star September Umrah Itinerary
A 10-night package means 10 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 11 days total — 5 nights in Makkah and 5 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 10 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 11.
Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Nada Al Diyafah. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader walks you through the intentions and rulings before you head out for your first visit to the Haram.
Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided step by step by your group leader. With the hotel only a few minutes from the Haram, there’s no long transfer to worry about on this first, most physically demanding day.
Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled for the cooler morning hours — September temperatures are easing from August’s peak, but midday heat is still worth planning around.
Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah An unstructured day to worship at your own pace, revisit the Haram whenever you’d like, or simply rest before the second half of your trip.
Day 5 — Free Day in Makkah Your final day in this city. Make one last visit to the Haram before checking out of Nada Al Diyafah.
Day 6 — Travel to Madinah Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable two-hour journey. Check in to Diyafat Al Mukhtara on arrival.
Day 7 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.
Day 8 — Free Day in Madinah Additional time for worship at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Given the longer walk from Diyafat Al Mukhtara, we recommend using the included transport for at least one of your daily visits.
Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain.
Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at the mosque, make any last du’as, and finish packing.
Day 11 — Departure Check out of Diyafat Al Mukhtara and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.
Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. Flying directly into Madinah and beginning your journey there is also an option; let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.
