4 Star September Umrah Package 10 Nights Silver USA | $660

September is the month experienced pilgrims quietly wait for summer’s crowds have thinned, winter’s rush hasn’t started, and hotel rates ease right along with the temperature. This 4-Star Silver package stretches that advantage across ten full nights: five at Novotel Makkah Thakher City, a modern, shuttle-serviced property away from the density of central Makkah, and five at Zowar International in Madinah, just two minutes from the Prophet’s Mosque itself.

We won’t dress up the Makkah side it’s a shuttle stay, not a walk but at $660 for ten nights, it’s one of the most affordable ways to spend a proper, unhurried week and a half in the holy cities this September. Novotel Makkah

Distance: Novotel Makkah Thakher City is located roughly 2.7 to 6 kilometers from Masjid al-Haram, depending on the routing used not a walkable distance. The property runs a complimentary shuttle to and from the Haram every 30 minutes, around the clock.

We’ll say this plainly, the same way we do on every page featuring this hotel: you’re not walking to the Haram from here. What you get in return is a newer, quieter 4-star property with dedicated on-site prayer facilities and a shuttle that runs reliably on its half-hour schedule a real advantage in September, when the milder evenings make the ride back after Isha genuinely pleasant rather than something to rush through. For a 10-night stay, many pilgrims specifically like having a calm base to return to after a full day near the Haram. One of our featured Makkah Hotels, all shuttle coordination and transfers run through our Makkah transport service.

Zowar International

Distance: Zowar International Hotel sits approximately 180 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, with easy access to Gate 329 for the men’s section and Gate 16 for the ladies’ section. Most guests reach the mosque courtyard in 2 to 5 minutes on foot, with the ladies’ route running slightly longer at 6 to 7 minutes.

Five nights here means this proximity isn’t a one-off convenience, it’s the daily rhythm of your whole Madinah stay a two-minute walk repeated across all five daily prayers, every day, for five days straight. Featured among our Madinah Hotels, the hotel’s spot in the bustling Northern Central Area also puts local shops and eateries within easy reach between prayer times. Transfers throughout your Madinah stay run through our Madinah transport network.

Your 10 Nights 4-Star September Silver Umrah Itinerary

A 10-night package means 10 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 11 days total — 5 nights in Makkah and 5 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 10 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 11.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah
Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Novotel Makkah Thakher City. Check in, rest after the journey, and change into Ihram — your group leader covers the intentions and rulings before your first shuttle ride to the Haram.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah
Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, with your group leader guiding each step. Shuttle transport to and from the Haram is coordinated and included throughout your Makkah stay.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah
A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled to make the most of September’s easing daytime temperatures.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah
An open day for personal Tawaf or rest, with shuttle service running on its regular schedule for guests who want to head back to the Haram.

Day 5 — Free Day in Makkah
Your final day in Makkah. Take a last shuttle ride to the Haram before checking out of Novotel Makkah Thakher City.

Day 6 — Travel to Madinah
Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable two-hour journey. Check in to Zowar International Hotel on arrival — close enough to walk to Dhuhr the same day.

Day 7 — Ziyarat in Madinah
A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 8 — Free Day in Madinah
Additional time for worship at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, made effortless given how close Zowar International sits to the mosque.

Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah
A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain.

Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah
Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at the mosque, make any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 11 — Departure
Check out of Zowar International Hotel and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. You can also fly directly into Madinah and begin your journey there instead. Let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Novotel is positioned on the edge of Makkah, roughly 2.7 to 6 km from the Haram depending on the route, which keeps room rates significantly lower than hotels sitting inside the central district. A free shuttle runs to and from the Haram every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, to bridge that distance.
Yes — September’s milder temperatures compared to peak summer make both the shuttle wait and the walk from the drop-off point noticeably more comfortable, and lighter overall crowds mean the shuttle itself tends to run closer to schedule.
The two cities are priced and positioned independently — Zowar International happens to be one of the closest 4-star options to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi at this price point, while Novotel’s value comes from its distance from the Haram rather than proximity. It’s a genuine trade-off built into this specific pairing.
The 10-night version splits nights 5/5 between the two cities instead of a shorter split, giving you two extra full days at each end — most pilgrims use the additional time in Madinah for repeated visits to the Rawdah rather than a single scheduled slot.
Custom adjustments are possible — reach out to your group coordinator to discuss swapping the Makkah hotel to a closer property while keeping the rest of this itinerary intact.
It can be, especially since Novotel’s newer build and quieter setting reduce fatigue between shuttle rides, but elderly pilgrims who prioritize minimal travel to the Haram may be better suited to our 4-Star Platinum tier with a closer Makkah hotel.
No. The Makkah-to-Madinah rail transfer is included in your package and arranged by our team, so there’s nothing additional to book or pay for on the day.
