5 Star August Umrah Package 10 Nights Platinum USA | $1149

Ten nights, balanced between two of the tallest, closest hotels in either city. This August Platinum package pairs Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower its climate-controlled bridges leading almost directly into the Haram with Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah, a French-Arabic hotel sitting practically on the mosque’s doorstep. Ten nights is the length most experienced pilgrims recommend for a reason: enough time to worship at your own pace in Makkah, settle into Madinah without rushing, and still fly home with a week’s worth of memories rather than exhaustion all while staying inside August’s off-peak pricing window. Comparing durations before you commit? Our Summer Umrah Package page lays out how the 7, 10, and 14-night options differ.

Fairmont Makkah

Distance: Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower sits within the Abraj Al Bait complex, roughly 100 to 300 meters from Masjid al-Haram. The walk is typically 2 to 4 minutes via climate-controlled bridges into the Haram precinct via King Abdulaziz Gate, though guest reports vary depending on lift wait times and mall foot traffic.

Five full nights at Fairmont, one of the most recognizable towers on the Makkah skyline, means you’re not just close to the Haram you have time to build a rhythm around it. The indoor, air-conditioned route matters, especially in August heat, letting you move between hotel and mosque without stepping outside at all. One of our featured Makkah Hotels, airport pickup, and every transfer during your Makkah stay run through our Makkah transport service.

Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah

Distance: Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah is located approximately 50 to 150 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, in the hotel’s own words “a few steps away.” Most guests reach the mosque’s northern gates, including the ladies’ entrance, in 1 to 5 minutes.

A five-night stay at Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah, featured among our Madinah Hotels, gives Madinah the time it deserves this is the city many pilgrims say they wish they’d stayed longer in on shorter trips. Close enough to walk over for every prayer, with rooms offering Haram Plaza views that turn even rest time into part of the experience. Your 10 Nights 5-Star Platinum August Umrah Itinerary

A 10-night package means 10 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 11 days total — 5 nights in Makkah and 5 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 10 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 11.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah
Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower. Check in, rest after the journey, and change into Ihram — your group leader covers the intentions and rulings before you head out for Umrah.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah
Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, with your group leader guiding each step. Transport to and from the Haram is included throughout.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah
A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled early to beat the August heat.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah
An open day to worship at your own pace — extra Tawaf, quiet reflection, or simply resting between prayers, with the indoor route to the Haram available whenever you need it.

Day 5 — Free Day in Makkah
Your final day in Makkah. Fit in one last visit to the Haram before checking out of Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower.

Day 6 — Travel to Madinah
Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable two-hour journey. Check in to Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah on arrival, a short walk from the mosque.

Day 7 — Ziyarat in Madinah
A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 8 — Free Day in Madinah
Additional time for worship at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, made effortless given how close Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah sits to the mosque.

Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah
A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain.

Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah
Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at the mosque, make any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 11 — Departure
Check out of Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. You can also fly directly into Madinah and begin your journey there instead. Let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.

Both use verified 5-star hotels near the Haramain, but Platinum’s Fairmont Clock Royal Tower and Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah sit inside the immediate Abraj Al Bait and Haram Plaza footprints — a step up in both address and finish from the Gold-tier Anjum and Dallah Taiba pairing.
Ten nights allows a more even split between Makkah and Madinah, meaning you’re not rushing worship in either city. It’s widely considered the most balanced option for pilgrims who want a full, unhurried experience without committing to a two-week trip.
Hotel quality is verified 5-star Platinum across all three durations, though the specific properties differ by package — this 10-night trip uses Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower and Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah specifically.
Custom night splits can be arranged on request. The 5/5 split listed here is our standard recommendation for 10-night Platinum bookings, but our team can adjust it based on your priorities.
This package includes one guided Ziyarah day in Makkah (Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira) and two in Madinah (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah, and Quba Mosque; then Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain), each led by an English/Urdu-speaking guide.
Yes. Ten nights gives families enough built-in free days to move at a comfortable pace, and the indoor, climate-controlled route to the Haram from Fairmont is a genuine advantage for children and elderly relatives during summer temperatures.
