5 Star August Umrah Package 7 Nights Gold USA | From $899

A week in the holy cities this August, upgraded. This 5-Star Gold package steps you up from our standard 5-star tier with Jabal Omar Marriott in Makkah and Pullman Zamzam Madinah the latter just a few minutes from the Prophet’s Mosque courtyard itself. Gold gets you Marriott-brand consistency in Makkah and one of Madinah’s more central 5-star addresses at a price that’s still well below what the same properties command during Ramadan or Hajj. If your standards are non-negotiable but your calendar isn’t, this is the August departure built for you. Comparing durations before you commit? Our Summer Umrah Package page lays out how the 7, 10, and 14-night options differ.

Jabal Omar Marriott- Makkah

Distance: Jabal Omar Marriott is located approximately 400 to 600 meters from Masjid al-Haram. Marriott’s own listings describe the walk as closer to 3 minutes, while independent travel sites more commonly report 5 to 8 minutes plan for somewhere in between depending on the entrance you use and time of day.

On a 7-night itinerary, Marriott’s brand-standard rooms and reliable service give this stay a consistency many pilgrims specifically look for, one of our featured Makkah Hotels. The hotel’s position within the Jabal Omar development means you’re walking well-maintained, mostly pedestrianized streets the whole way to the Haram. Transfers are handled through our dedicated Makkah transport service.

Pullman Zam Zam

Distance: Pullman Zamzam Madinah sits approximately 150 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, closest to Bab Al Salam (Gate 1). Men typically reach the mosque in 3 to 5 minutes; women using the northern entrances should allow closer to 10 to 12 minutes.

With four nights in Madinah on this itinerary, this proximity does real work pilgrims can return to the hotel between prayers rather than waiting out the gap in the courtyard heat. Featured among our Madinah hotels, the hotel sits in the Central Area directly adjacent to the mosque precinct, and transfers to and from the airport and Ziyarah sites run through our Madinah transport network.

Your 7 Nights 5-Star Gold August Umrah Itinerary

A 7-night package means 7 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 8 days total — 3 nights in Makkah and 4 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 7 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 8.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah
Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer directly to Jabal Omar Marriott. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader walks you through the intentions and rulings before you set out for the Haram.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah
Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided step by step by your group leader. Transport to and from the Haram is included, so there’s nothing to arrange yourself.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah
A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, timed early in the day to avoid the worst of the August heat.

Day 4 — Travel to Madinah
Check out of Jabal Omar Marriott and transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a smooth two-hour ride between cities. On arrival, check in to Pullman Zamzam Madinah.

Day 5 — Ziyarat in Madinah
A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 6 — Free Day in Madinah
An open day to pray at your own pace, revisit the Rawdah if your first slot was brief, or simply rest between prayers.

Day 7 — Free Day in Madinah
Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. With the hotel this close to the mosque, it’s easy to fit in extra worship, wrap up any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 8 — Departure
Check out of Pullman Zamzam Madinah and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. You can also fly directly into Madinah and begin your journey there instead. Let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Gold moves you into a Marriott-brand Makkah stay and a more central Madinah address at Pullman Zamzam, a step up in room category and hotel positioning from our Silver tier, at a modest price increase.
Yes. Seven nights gives you a full, unrushed Umrah in Makkah and a meaningful Ziyarah visit in Madinah, and August’s lighter crowds compared to Ramadan or Hajj mean you’ll typically move through Tawaf and Sa’i faster than a peak-season trip of the same length.
August is peak summer heat in Saudi Arabia, often exceeding 40°C (104°F) during the day. Ziyarah visits are scheduled early to avoid the worst of it, and both hotels are close enough to the Haramain that most walking happens during cooler prayer-time windows.
Yes, extensions can be arranged before departure. Let our team know if you’d like additional nights at either hotel and we’ll adjust your itinerary and pricing accordingly.
Your Umrah visa processing is included in this package. Visit our Umrah Visa page for document requirements and processing timelines.
The men’s route via Bab Al Salam (Gate 1) is roughly 3 to 5 minutes; women using the northern entrances should budget closer to 10 to 12 minutes, so it’s worth planning a slightly earlier departure for prayer times.
Yes. The itinerary above reflects the standard routing most pilgrims choose, but flying into Madinah and starting your journey there is available on request — let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.
