A week in August doesn’t need to cost a fortune to feel complete. This 7-night 4-Star Silver package pairs Novotel Makkah Thakher City with Zowar International Hotel in Madinah, giving pilgrims a clean, comfortable base in both cities without stretching the budget.

Novotel Makkah

Distance: Novotel Makkah Thakher City is located about 2.7 kilometers from Masjid al-Haram in the Thakher City development. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle to and from the Haram every 30 minutes, around the clock, with the ride taking roughly 10 minutes.

Four nights at Novotel Makkah Thakher City, one of our value-focused Makkah Hotels, is built for pilgrims who’d rather put their budget toward more nights than a room a few floors closer to the Kaaba. Modern, air-conditioned rooms and a round-the-clock shuttle mean you’re never actually stranded, you’re simply trading a short ride for meaningful savings on a 7-night August trip. We recommend timing your shuttle rides around prayer schedules, which our Makkah transport service coordinates for you throughout your stay.

Zowar International

Distance: Zowar International Hotel sits in Madinah’s northern central area, about 170 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Guests typically reach the mosque’s Gate 330 or Gate 331 in a 2 to 4 minute walk.

Three nights at Zowar International, featured among our Madinah Hotels, gives you genuine walking-distance access to the Prophet’s Mosque without the price tag of the towers directly overlooking it. With August temperatures regularly climbing past 105°F, that short walk still matters — it’s the difference between a five-minute stroll to Fajr and a longer commute in the midday heat. All transfers are arranged through our Madinah transport network.

Your 7 Nights 4-Star Silver August Umrah Itinerary

A 7-night package means 7 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 8 days total 4 nights in Makkah and 3 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 7 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 8.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Novotel Makkah Thakher City. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader walks you through the intentions and rulings before your first shuttle ride to the Haram.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided step by step by your group leader. Shuttle transport to and from the Haram is included, timed to avoid the hottest hours of the day.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled early in the morning to work around the peak of August heat.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah Your last day in this city. Use it however suits you — an extra Tawaf, quiet time in the Haram, or resting in the hotel’s air conditioning — before checking out of Novotel Makkah.

Day 5 — Travel to Madinah Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a smooth two-hour ride between cities. On arrival, check in to Zowar International Hotel, a short walk from the Prophet’s Mosque.

Day 6 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 7 — Free Day in Madinah Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. With the hotel this close to the mosque, it’s easy to fit in extra worship, wrap up any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 8 — Departure Check out of Zowar International Hotel and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. Flying directly into Madinah and beginning your journey there is also an option; let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Seven nights gives you a full, unrushed Umrah in Makkah and a meaningful Ziyarah visit in Madinah without needing extended time off — and Zowar International’s proximity to the Prophet’s Mosque keeps outdoor exposure during the summer heat to a minimum.
The shuttle runs every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, but peak prayer times can mean waiting for a later departure. Our team schedules your Ziyarah and Umrah transport separately from the general shuttle so your core rituals aren’t affected.
The savings come primarily from Novotel Makkah’s shuttle-served distance rather than a walking location, plus a more standard room category at both hotels. Zowar International itself is genuinely walking distance from the Prophet’s Mosque.
Daytime temperatures regularly exceed 105°F and stay hot and dry throughout the month. We schedule outdoor Ziyarah visits for early morning and rely on shuttle and vehicle transport during the hottest midday hours.
Your Umrah visa processing is included in this package. Visit our Umrah Visa page for document requirements and processing timelines.
Yes, extensions can be arranged before departure. Let our team know if you’d like additional nights at either hotel and we’ll adjust your itinerary and pricing accordingly.
Yes. Seven nights at this price point is one of our most requested combinations for first-time pilgrims, and guided Ziyarah, included transport, and 24/7 on-ground support mean you’re never navigating alone.
