4 Star September Umrah Package 7 Nights Silver USA | $520

This package makes an unusual trade, and we think it’s the right one: a shuttle-served hotel in Makkah in exchange for one of the closest Madinah addresses we offer at any tier. Novotel Makkah Thakher City sits about 2.7km from the Haram with a round-the-clock shuttle, while Zowar International in Madinah puts you roughly 180 meters  a two-to-four-minute walk from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. If your priority is spending your free time inside the Prophet’s Mosque rather than commuting to it, If you’re comparing tiers before you book, our Fall Umrah Packages pages show exactly what the upgrade buys you.

Novotel Makkah

Distance: Novotel Makkah Thakher City is located about 2.7km from Masjid al-Haram in the Thakher City area. A complimentary shuttle runs to and from the Haram every 30 to 60 minutes, with the ride itself taking roughly 10–15 minutes.

We’re upfront about this one: Novotel is further from the Haram than any other Makkah hotel on our September lineup, and the shuttle runs on a schedule rather than on demand. What you get in return is a genuinely modern, international-standard property with a real fitness room and a build quality closer to a business hotel than a pilgrim hostel. It suits pilgrims who plan their day around the shuttle timetable and value a quieter, newer property over a shorter walk. Every shuttle run and transfer is coordinated through our Makkah transport service, making it one of the practical options featured among our Makkah Hotels.

Zowar International

Distance: Zowar International Hotel is located roughly 180 meters from the northern gates of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi a 2 to 4-minute walk, among the closest Madinah properties on any of our September tiers.

This is where the Silver tier earns its price. Four nights this close to the Prophet’s Mosque means you can return to your room between every prayer, skip the transport question entirely, and let older or younger travelers set their own pace without worrying about timing a shuttle. Pilgrims who’ve stayed here tell us it changes how the whole Madinah leg of the trip feels less like a scheduled stop, more like actually living beside the mosque for four days. Local transport for Ziyarah days runs through our Madinah transport network, while Zowar International Hotel remains one of the closest options featured among our Madinah Hotels.

Your 7 Nights 5-Star Silver September Umrah Itinerary

A 7-night package means 7 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 8 days total — 3 nights in Makkah and 4 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 7 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 8.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Novotel Makkah Thakher City. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader covers the intentions and rulings before you head out.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided throughout by your group leader. Scheduled shuttle transport to and from the Haram is included — your group leader will confirm shuttle times the night before.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, timed to avoid the peak heat of the September afternoon.

Day 4 — Travel to Madinah Check out of Novotel Makkah and transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable two-hour journey. Check in to Zowar International Hotel on arrival, a short walk from the mosque.

Day 5 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 6 — Free Day in Madinah With the hotel this close to the mosque, most pilgrims use this day for extra worship rather than resting in the room.

Day 7 — Free Day in Madinah Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at the mosque, make any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 8 — Departure Check out of Zowar International Hotel and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. Flying directly into Madinah and beginning your journey there is also available; let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s a deliberate trade-off. Novotel Makkah costs the package less than a closer Makkah property would, which lets us put more of the budget into Zowar International — one of the closest Madinah hotels we offer at any tier.
The shuttle runs every 30–60 minutes around the clock. Most pilgrims plan to leave 45–60 minutes before a prayer to account for the ride and the walk from the drop-off point, which our group leaders help coordinate.
Yes — this is exactly the pilgrim this package is built for. If sitting close to the Prophet’s Mosque matters more to you than a short walk in Makkah, the 180-meter Zowar International stay is hard to match at this price point.
The 3/4 night split and hotel pairing on this tier is fixed as listed, but our team can quote a custom package if you’d like a different balance — just ask.
Your Umrah visa processing is included in this package. Visit our Umrah Visa page for document requirements and processing timelines.
Yes, and it’s particularly well suited to them — the short walk to the mosque means older pilgrims and families with children aren’t dependent on transport timing for daily prayers.
At $520 versus Gold’s $600, you’re saving roughly 13% while giving up walking distance in Makkah for a shuttle. Whether that trade is worth it depends on which city matters more to your trip — many pilgrims on longer Ramadan-adjacent stays prefer this split.
