4 Star August Umrah Package 7 Nights Gold USA | From $600

For pilgrims who want a genuine step up from entry-level comfort without stretching into 5-star pricing, this 7-night 4-Star Gold package delivers exactly that this August. You’ll stay at Voco Makkah, a modern IHG property with a dedicated free shuttle to Masjid al-Haram, then move to Waqf Outhman Bin Affan Hotel in Madinah, close enough to the Prophet’s Mosque that even the summer heat won’t feel like an obstacle.

A full week is enough time to complete Umrah and Ziyarah in both cities without losing your August back home. Comparing durations? Our Summer Umrah Package page shows how the 7, 10, and 14-night August Gold options differ.

Voco Makkah

Distance: Voco Makkah sits about 1.8 kilometers from Masjid al-Haram, roughly a 5 to 7 minute drive by taxi or the hotel’s complimentary shuttle. Walking is possible for fit guests in cooler hours, but not recommended given the distance and August heat.

Four nights at Voco Makkah, one of our featured Makkah hotels, trade a walking-distance address for genuinely modern rooms, quieter surroundings away from the densest part of the central zone, and better value than properties charging a premium purely for proximity.

The free shuttle runs regularly, and for pilgrims doing two or three focused Haram visits a day rather than living inside the mosque, that trade-off tends to feel worthwhile. Transfers, including shuttle scheduling around your Umrah and Ziyarah days, are arranged through our Makkah transport service.

Waqf Outhman Bin Affan

Distance: Waqf Outhman Bin Affan Hotel is about 800 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, roughly a 6 to 8 minute walk, with women’s access available through Gate 25.

Three nights at Waqf Outhman Bin Affan, one of our Madinah Hotels, keeps you close enough to walk to every prayer while staying in a genuinely comfortable 4-star property several rooms even look out toward the Haram. An 8-minute walk is manageable even during August’s peak heat if timed around the cooler morning and evening prayers, which our guides help you plan. All local transport is arranged through our Madinah transport network.

Your 7 Nights 4-Star Gold August Umrah Itinerary

A 7-night package means 7 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 8 days total — 4 nights in Makkah and 3 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 7 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 8.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Voco Makkah. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader walks you through the intentions and rulings before your first shuttle ride to the Haram.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided step by step by your group leader. Shuttle transport to and from the Haram is included, timed around prayer schedules.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled early in the morning to work around the peak of August heat.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah Your last day in this city. Use it however suits you — an extra Tawaf, quiet time in the Haram, or resting in the hotel’s air conditioning — before checking out of Voco Makkah.

Day 5 — Travel to Madinah Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a smooth two-hour ride between cities. On arrival, check in to Waqf Outhman Bin Affan Hotel, a short walk from the Prophet’s Mosque.

Day 6 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 7 — Free Day in Madinah Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. With the hotel this close to the mosque, it’s easy to fit in extra worship, wrap up any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 8 — Departure Check out of Waqf Outhman Bin Affan Hotel and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. Flying directly into Madinah and beginning your journey there is also an option; let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.
