Two weeks is long enough to stop rushing. This August 14-night Gold package gives you a full week in each holy city. The first week is spent at Voco Makkah, with its shuttle to the Haram. The second is at Waqf Outhman Bin Affan Hotel, a short walk from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Rooms are a step up from Silver, but you don’t pay the premium of a tower beside the Haram.
If you’re travelling with parents, grandparents or young children, the extra days matter most. Umrah is done on Day 2, and the rest of the trip is yours for worship, rest and ziyarat. Distance: about 800 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, a 6 to 8 minute walk. Women’s access is available through Gate 25.
After the effort of Makkah, week two is meant to be gentler. The walk is short and the route is the same every day, which suits elderly relatives who tire of finding their way and children who do better with a routine. By Day 10 you know the way, the gate and the timing of your visit.
The hotel is also a useful place to rest between prayers when afternoon temperatures peak. The hotel is among our Madinah Hotels, and city and ziyarah transfers run through our Madinah transport network.

Your 14 Nights 4-Star Gold August Umrah Itinerary
14 nights in Saudi Arabia means 15 days: 7 nights in Makkah and 7 in Madinah. You fly out and arrive on Day 1, and fly home on Day 15.
Week One: Makkah (Days 1 to 7)
Day 1: Depart USA / Arrive Makkah. Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Voco Makkah. Check in and rest. Your group leader explains the niyyah and the rulings of Ihram before your first shuttle to the Haram.
Day 2: Umrah. Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided by your group leader. With the main ritual done by Day 2, the rest of the week is unhurried.
Day 3: Ziyarat in Makkah. A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled early to avoid the midday heat.
Day 4: Free day. Worship at your own pace, recover from the journey, or take the shuttle to the Haram when you wish.
Day 5: Ziyarat in Makkah. A second guided outing covering Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat. Shorter packages rarely have time for this.
Day 6: Free day. More personal worship and rest. With a full week, there’s no need to fit everything into one visit.
Day 7: Free day, final day in Makkah. One last visit to the Haram before checking out of Voco Makkah.
Week Two: Madinah (Days 8 to 15)
Day 8: Travel to Madinah. Transfer by the Haramain High Speed Railway, about two hours. Check in at Waqf Outhman Bin Affan Hotel, a short walk from the mosque.
Day 9: Ziyarat in Madinah. A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability) and Quba Mosque.
Day 10: Free day. Time at the Prophet’s Mosque, an easy walk from the hotel.
Day 11: Ziyarat in Madinah. A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery and Masjid al-Qiblatain.
Day 12: Free day. Rest, personal worship, or time with the family travelling with you.
Day 13: Free day. Many pilgrims use these extra days to pray in the Rawdah more than once, subject to availability.
Day 14: Free day, final full day. Spend extra time at the mosque, make your last du’as and pack.
Day 15: Departure. Check out and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.
Note: this is the standard routing, flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah and finishing in Madinah. You can also fly directly into Madinah and begin there. Tell your travel consultant your preference when booking.
