3 Star August Umrah Package 10 Night USA | From $475

Ten nights in August buys you something a 7-night trip can’t: room to breathe. With no Ramadan or Hajj crowding either city, this 3-Star package puts you at Nada Al Diyafah one of the closest budget hotels to Masjid al-Haram in all of Makkah and Diyafat Al Mukhtara in Madinah, giving you enough time to slow down, repeat a Ziyarah visit you loved, or simply sit in the Haram longer than a shorter itinerary allows.

It’s a strong pick for pilgrims traveling with family this summer who want extra days without an extra-star price jump. If a full ten nights feels like more than you need, compare it against our shorter Summer Umrah Package options.

Nada Al Diyafah-Makkah

Distance: Nada Al Diyafah Hotel sits directly behind Le Méridien Makkah in the Ajyad district, only about 150 meters from Masjid al-Haram. It’s a 3 to 5 minute walk, though the final stretch climbs a short, steep hill up to the hotel entrance.

For a 3-star property, this is about as close to the Haram as it gets — closer, in fact, than many 4-star hotels. On a 10-night stay, that proximity compounds: five daily prayers, ten days running, all within a five-minute walk instead of a shuttle ride or taxi. The short uphill approach is worth knowing about in advance, especially for elderly travelers, but a golf-cart service is available at the hotel for guests who’d rather skip the climb. Ground transfers on arrival and departure are handled through our Makkah transport service. Explore our Makkah hotels options to compare properties and find the right stay for your pilgrimage.

Diyafat Al Mukhtara-Madinah

Distance: Diyafat Al Mukhtara Hotel is located about 700 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah’s Central Area, roughly a 10-minute walk to the mosque’s outer gates.

Five nights in Madinah gives this distance real breathing room  close enough for daily worship without feeling rushed, far enough to be genuinely affordable at the 3-star tier. Diyafat Al Mukhtara, part of our Madinah Hotels network, sits in a busy, walkable stretch of the city with restaurants and shops nearby, so evenings don’t have to mean staying in. Transfers to and from Ziyarah sites and the airport are coordinated through our Madinah transport network.

Your 10 Nights 3-Star August Umrah Itinerary

A 10-night package means 10 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 11 days total — 5 nights in Makkah and 5 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 10 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 11.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Nada Al Diyafah Hotel. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader covers the intentions and rulings before you head out for Umrah.

Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided throughout by your group leader. Transport to and from the Haram is included for the full stay.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled early to beat the worst of the August heat.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah An unstructured day to worship at your own pace, rest after the first leg of travel, or return to the Haram whenever you feel called to — the short walk from Nada Al Diyafah makes multiple trips easy.

Day 5 — Free Day in Makkah Your final day in this city. Make one last visit to the Haram before checking out of Nada Al Diyafah Hotel.

Day 6 — Travel to Madinah Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable two-hour journey. Check in to Diyafat Al Mukhtara Hotel on arrival.

Day 7 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.

Day 8 — Free Day in Madinah Additional time for worship at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, and a good day to explore the local markets near the hotel.

Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah A second guided outing, covering Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain.

Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend extra time at the mosque, make any last du’as, and finish packing.

Day 11 — Departure Check out of Diyafat Al Mukhtara Hotel and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. You can also fly directly into Madinah and begin your journey there instead. Let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ten nights gives you a full extra Ziyarah day in Madinah and more unstructured time at both Harams, without the price jumping into 5-star territory. It’s a common middle-ground choice for families using summer break to travel.
About 150 meters — roughly a 3 to 5 minute walk, with a short steep section near the entrance. It’s one of the closest 3-star options to Masjid al-Haram that we offer.
It can work well — a golf-cart service is available at Nada Al Diyafah for guests who prefer not to walk the incline, and our on-ground team can flag this preference in advance so it’s arranged before you arrive.
Most pilgrims fill the extra days with more time at the Haramain rather than sightseeing — additional Tawaf, longer stretches in the Rawdah, and simply resting between prayers, which many find is the actual point of a longer trip.
Yes, additional nights at either hotel can be added on request — let your travel consultant know your preferred dates and they’ll adjust your quote.
This package covers accommodation, visa, and transport; meals are on request and can be added — ask when booking.
No — full visa processing is included in every package; see our Umrah visa guide for details.
