Distance: Emaar Elite Hotel sits on Ajyad Street in Makkah, about 1.2 kilometers from Masjid al-Haram, roughly a 15 to 18-minute walk on foot, with most of the return journey uphill. The hotel runs a regular shuttle service to and from the Haram throughout the day.
Over a full 14-night stay, the shuttle is what makes this hotel work at the 3-star price point. You’re not walking that hill five times a day in August heat; you’re stepping outside and catching a ride. Many pilgrims on longer packages settle into a rhythm within the first few days: shuttle down for Fajr, walk back mid-morning once the heat has eased, then shuttle again for the evening prayers.

Distance: New Madinah Hotel is located roughly 400 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, close to Al Baqi Cemetery in central Madinah about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the mosque’s gates.

Your 14 Nights 3-Star August Umrah Itinerary
A 14-night package means 14 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 15 days total — 7 nights in Makkah and 7 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 14 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 15.
Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Emaar Elite Hotel. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader covers the intentions and rulings before you head out for Umrah.
Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided throughout by your group leader. Transport to and from the Haram is included for the full stay.
Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, scheduled early to beat the August heat.
Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah An unstructured day to worship at your own pace, rest after the first week’s travel, or return to the Haram via the hotel shuttle whenever you feel called to.
Day 5 — Ziyarat in Makkah A second guided outing, covering Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat — sites most shorter packages don’t have time to include.
Day 6 — Free Day in Makkah More unstructured time. With a full week here, there’s no pressure to pack everything into a single visit to the Haram.
Day 7 — Free Day in Makkah Your final day in this city. Make one last visit to the Haram before checking out of Emaar Elite Hotel.
Day 8 — Travel to Madinah Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable two-hour journey. Check in to New Madinah Hotel on arrival, a short walk from the mosque.
Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.
Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah Additional time for worship at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, made easy given how close New Madinah Hotel sits to the mosque.

Day 15 — Departure Check out of New Madinah Hotel and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.
