Al Kiswah Hotel

Distance from Haram: 900m–1km · 15–20 minute walk

Al Kiswah Hotel is tucked into Makkah’s Al Tayseer district, a comfortable middle-ground for pilgrims who want to stay near the Haram without paying premium prices for a doorstep location. The walk in is manageable, though it’s a gentle uphill stretch on the return — worth keeping in mind during warmer June afternoons.

Guests who’d rather skip the walk can use the regular shuttle between the hotel and the Haram, part of our included Umrah Transport. Rooms are simply furnished but well-kept, with a no-frills approach that keeps costs down — one of several Makkah Hotel options we offer across different budgets.

Al Mukhtara International

Distance from Masjid an-Nabawi: 650–850m · 8–10 minute walk
Al Mukhtara International sits in Madinah’s Al Markaziah (North Central) district, right in the thick of the hotel and shopping strip that surrounds the mosque. It’s one of the closer 3-star options in our Madinah Hotel lineup, close enough that guests can comfortably walk over for all five daily prayers without relying on transport — though our Umrah Transport is available throughout your stay for airport transfers and Ziyarat visits.

The building itself is straightforward and functional — spacious rooms, reliable air conditioning, and daily housekeeping — with an on-site restaurant serving a buffet-style spread of Eastern and Western dishes. The surrounding streets are lined with shops, exchange counters, and quick bites, so guests rarely need to travel far for essentials during their stay.

Your 7-Night 3-Star June Umrah Itinerary

A 7-night package means 7 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, which works out to 8 days total — 4 nights in Makkah and 3 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 7 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 8.

Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah

Depart from your chosen US city and land at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah. A private transfer takes you straight to Al Kiswah Hotel, about 900m–1km from the Haram. Check in, freshen up after the journey, and change into Ihram ahead of Umrah — your group leader will walk you through the intentions and rulings before you head out.

Day 2 — Umrah Rites

Perform Umrah — Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir to complete the rites — with step-by-step guidance from your group leader throughout. Most pilgrims spend the rest of the day resting and offering voluntary prayers at the Haram, ideally scheduling extra walking around the cooler early morning and evening hours.

Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah

A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira. Given June’s summer heat, this visit is scheduled for early morning to keep the climb comfortable.

Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah

An open day to worship at your own pace — extra Tawaf, quiet time with the Qur’an, or simply resting between prayers. Your final day in Makkah; use it for reflection and one last Tawaf before packing up.

Day 5 — Travel to Madinah

Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway to Madinah — a comfortable, roughly two-hour journey across the desert. On arrival, check in to Al Mukhtara International, about 650–850 meters from the Masjid an-Nabawi courtyard.

Day 6 — Ziyarat in Madinah

A guided visit to Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque — the first mosque built in Islam. Many pilgrims try to pray two rak’ahs at Quba, following the Sunnah.

Day 7 — Free Day in Madinah

An open day for personal worship, reflection, or a visit to Mount Uhud and the Martyrs’ cemetery. Given how close Al Mukhtara International sits to the mosque, it’s easy to head over between each of the five daily prayers.

Day 8 — Departure

Check out of Al Mukhtara International and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.

Note: this is the standard routing most pilgrims choose — flying into Jeddah, starting in Makkah, and finishing in Madinah before departure. You can also fly directly into Madinah and begin your journey there instead. Let your travel consultant know your preference when booking.
