Distance: Voco Makkah is located approximately 1.8 kilometers (1.1 miles) from Masjid al-Haram. The hotel’s complimentary shuttle covers this in 5 to 7 minutes; the walk takes around 20 to 25 minutes and is best avoided during July’s hottest hours.

With five nights on this itinerary, Waqf Outhman Bin Affan featured among our Madinah Hotels becomes less of a hotel stay and more of a base you actually live from. The short walk to the mosque means you can go back and forth between prayers rather than waiting it out in the courtyard, which matters more over five nights than it would on a quick overnight. Your 10 Nights 4-Star Gold July Umrah Itinerary
A 10-night package means 10 nights of hotel stay in Saudi Arabia, working out to 11 days total — 5 nights in Makkah and 5 nights in Madinah. Pilgrims fly out and arrive on Day 1, spend all 10 nights across the two holy cities, and fly home on Day 11.
Day 1 — Depart USA / Arrive Makkah Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Voco Makkah. Check in, rest after the flight, and change into Ihram — your group leader covers the intentions and rulings before the shuttle takes you to the Haram.
Day 2 — Perform Umrah Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and Halq or Taqsir, guided throughout by your group leader. Shuttle transport to and from the Haram is included for the full Makkah stay.
Day 3 — Ziyarat in Makkah A guided visit to Jabal al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, timed for early morning to finish before the day’s peak July temperatures.
Day 4 — Free Day in Makkah An open day to worship at your own pace using the shuttle, rest through the hottest part of the afternoon, or explore nearby shopping around the Haram.
Day 5 — Free Day in Makkah Your final day in this city. Make one more shuttle trip to the Haram for a last Tawaf before checking out of Voco Makkah.
Day 6 — Travel to Madinah Transfer via the Haramain High Speed Railway, a comfortable, air-conditioned two-hour journey — a welcome break from the July sun. Check in to Waqf Outhman Bin Affan on arrival.
Day 7 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Rawdah (subject to availability), and Quba Mosque.
Day 8 — Free Day in Madinah Extra time for worship at the Prophet’s Mosque, easy to fit in given how close Waqf Outhman Bin Affan sits to the mosque grounds.
Day 9 — Ziyarat in Madinah A guided visit to Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ cemetery, and Masjid al-Qiblatain.
Day 10 — Free Day in Madinah Your final full day in Saudi Arabia. Spend it at the mosque, finish any remaining du’as, and pack at an unhurried pace.
Day 11 — Departure Check out of Waqf Outhman Bin Affan and transfer to Madinah airport for your return flight to the USA.
